What is the difference between PVC solvent cement and PVC glue?

PVC solvent cement chemically bonds PVC pipes and fittings by softening their surfaces,
creating a strong, permanent bond. PVC glue, however, is a general adhesive that may not provide the
same level of bonding strength and durability.

How should I store adhesives and sealants to ensure their longevity?
