How to Apply

Ensure the threaded pipe or fitting is clean and dry. Choose the appropriate PTFE tape for your application (e.g., white for water, yellow for gas, or pink for heavy-duty sealing).

Wrap the tape around the threads in the same direction as the threads (clockwise), starting at the first thread. Stretch the tape slightly and overlap it by 50%, covering the threads evenly. Wrap 3-5 times for water or more for gas fittings.

Tighten the fittings by hand, then use a wrench to secure them without over-tightening. Test for leaks by turning on the water supply or using a soap-and-water solution for gas fittings. Reapply tape and retighten if necessary.
