How to Apply

Before starting, wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves and goggles. Ensure proper ventilation, especially in enclosed spaces. Clean the pipe ends and the rubber gaskets inside the fittings using a cloth or water. Check that the V-Rubber Lubricant is in good condition and stir if necessary. Dry all components thoroughly to prevent moisture from interfering with the bond.

Apply a generous but even layer of lubricant to the male end of the SWR pipe, focusing on the insertion area. Optionally, apply a thin layer of lubricant to the rubber gasket inside the fitting. Slowly and carefully insert the lubricated pipe into the fitting, ensuring it slides smoothly without damaging the components. Double-check alignment and secure the connection, tightening any clamps or brackets as needed.

Allow the joint to settle for a few minutes and then inspect for any visible signs of leakage or misalignment. Perform a leak test by running water through the system. If any leaks are detected, disassemble the joint, clean, and reapply the lubricant. After completing the installation, clean all tools and surfaces, dispose of waste properly, and ensure no excess lubricant remains in the work area.
